Description:The World Bank International Essay Competition 2011 would like to hear your views on the opportunities, challenges and implications of youth migration. Follow the link above to review the topic details and then write an essay of up to 4000 words focused on the theme topic of "Youth Migration". Essays can be written in English, French, or Spanish. The language of the written essay will also be the required language for presentation of the eight finalists' essays in the Final Jury and conference.
Additional Info: The first competition was launched in 2003 as the European Essay Competition by The World Bank in partner with the College of Europe. It has since grown to an international competition in partnership with ten organizations and companies. Each year, young adults have been challenged with sharing views and presenting solutions to world issues of a specific theme.
The 2010 International Essay Competition on youth unemployment attracted 2,009 submissions from over 150 countries. The competition has also been expanded to include a video category with similar prizes.
